Domestic EAP

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to help members and their dependents cope with stress, depression, marital difficulties, and a variety of other work, family, and life issues. The EAP includes:
  • Up to 6 free face-to-face sessions per issue per year
  • Immediate assistance for critical emotional needs
  • Information and referral for child care, elder care, adoption, and more
  • Guidance for finding local resources
  • Telephonic consultation

Wellness Seminars
Concordia Health Plan (CHP) members as well as employers who offer the CHP have access to EAP Wellness Seminars. For a schedule of the 2014 EAP Wellness Seminars and to pre-register, click here. Please register at least 48 hours before the seminar is scheduled to begin.

For an additional cost, employer benefits representatives can offer wellness seminars and/or management trainings for their employees. To view the 2014 EAP Wellness Seminars and Management Trainings Catalog, click here. To request an on-site Wellness Seminar or Management Training session, click here. A "Manager's Guide to the EAP" is another vital tool to assist managers in identifying and dealing with performance and other job-related issues.

International EAP

The International Employee Assistance Program (IEAP) is designed to help members (Career Missionaries, GEO Missionaries, and Partner-Supported International Educators) and their families working and living abroad cope with stress, depression, marital difficulties, and a variety of other work, family, and life issues. The IEAP includes:
  • Global Toll-Free Service - Contact the EAP via the Global Toll-Free Telephone List
  • Text, Chat, and E-Mail Service - Connect with EAP services from a smartphone or computer
  • Online E-Counseling (English Only) - Schedule and conduct confidential counseling session with EAP therapists and counselors right from a web-enabled computer
Phone, text, chat, and e-mail services are available 24/7 in the local language of 170 countries. Up to 5 face-to-face counseling sessions per issue per year are available in most countries.
